La Troncal. Nordelta: Horacio Lavandera moved the audience with an unforgettable charity concert.

The renowned Argentine pianist offered a unique evening at Northlands School in front of 580 people. Classical music, rock, and pop mingled in a benefit recital for the Nordelta Foundation, which featured Mayor Julio Zamora and prominent local figures.

On Saturday, June 28, Nordelta was the scene of a magical evening. In the Northlands School auditorium, pianist Horacio Lavandera presented his show “Sonidos de lo eterna” (Sounds of the Eternal), a musical journey that fused pieces by Beethoven, Mahler, The Beatles, and Gustavo Cerati, among others. The event was produced by Revista Nordelta for charitable purposes: all proceeds went to the Nordelta Foundation’s social programs.

Before a packed auditorium of 580 spectators, Lavandera dazzled with his virtuosity and sensitivity. The repertoire included Beethoven Variations, Mahler symphonic passages adapted for the piano, and a moving interpretation of rock classics such as Yesterday, De Música ligera, and Imagine. Each set was introduced by the artist himself, who contextualized the works with warmth and depth.

One of the most special moments was the final performance of Great Balls of Fire, which brought the audience to its feet to applaud the performer. The piano used, specially restored for the occasion, belonged to engineer Julián Astolfoni, a longtime resident and one of the driving forces behind the Nordelta project.

Among those attending were Mayor Julio Zamora and his wife, Gisela Zamora, Secretary of Social Development and Inclusion Policies for the Municipality of Tigre. Residents of the community also participated in a gathering that united art, solidarity, and commitment.

The concert was sponsored by Nordelta S.A., Consultatio, and Macro Selecta, with support from Bon Prix, Koala, and Fresh Brew. The concert was directed by Juana Costantini, director of Nordelta Magazine, who emphasized that the objective was “to celebrate music and support the work that the Nordelta Foundation does with children and families in the Las Tunas neighborhood.”
