After eight years, maestro Horacio Lavandera will return to San Nicolás, once again with the support of Ternium Culture and the PROA Foundation. All proceeds will benefit the San Felipe Hospital Cooperating Association and will be used to enhance the Pediatric Emergency Room.

The event, which promises to be another unforgettable evening, will take place on Friday, April 11, at 8:30 PM at the San Nicolás Theater and is organized by the Movilizarte Civil Association. Tickets can be purchased starting tomorrow at the Theater Box Office (Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM) and at Plateanet, and range in price from $8,000 to $12,000.

Sounds of Eternity

The concert begins with Ludwig van Beethoven’s tribute to the kings of England through Variations on two of his most famous melodies, transformed into hymns: “God Save the King” and “Rule Britannia,” and continues with the 33 Diabelli Variations, Op. 120 in C major.

The second part of this concert will take us through the original piano roll versions recorded by Gustav Mahler himself of his most iconic songs and passages from his symphonies, including the “Adagietto.”

These compositions will be connected with Horacio Lavandera’s versions of iconic songs by members of The Beatles, such as Imagine, Yesterday, and Eleanor Rigby. Finally, a selection of original versions by Gustavo Cerati, one of the greatest exponents of Argentine rock, will be presented.
